Dangers of Net Applications (MSN)

Hey hey, I'm back everyone:) Today, i am going to share with everyone about the dangers of net applications.

Dangers of MSN

Ok, do you know what dangers we might face using MSN? If you don't you'll know after reading this...
  1. Everyone who uses MSN have the rights to accept a friend request by anyone. So if an stranger tries to add an individual by imposing as his/her friend, he/she may fall into the stranger's trap and accepts that person's request. By doing this, it opens the door to pedophiles.
  2. Instant messaging has also become a target for unwelcome advertisements. Spammers are now using Instant messenger to spread their unsolicited messages. SPAM sent over Instant Messaging often contains offensive language or links to Web sites with content totally INAPPROPRIATE for children.
  3. Sometimes we may accidentally reveal our personal information which we shouldn't and that has the potential danger to open the doors to online predators.
  4. A common danger some of us might face is online-bullying, which is also known as cyber bullying. It is the newest form of bullying which threatens school aged children and as time goes by, more and more children are becoming victims of this trend. Cyber bullying is when someone who dislikes a person post something nasty and untrue about a person online. Causing others to have a bad impression on the victim and also causing others to dislike the victim.
  5. Another danger we might face is that sometimes people would send us messages using MSN containing viruses which can attack the computer operating system and destroy all of the files in that computer.
  6. If we add a person that you don't know because you think that there is no harm, he will start chatting with you and start asking you to meet up with him. Children and teenagers who are gullible or for some who thinks that it is cool, may agree to meet up. This is when the danger comes in. After you meet up with the person, anything could happen. It may lead to deadly consequences like kidnap, rape or robbery cases.
So you must always make sure that the person who add you is your friend or get your friend's email address if he/she wants to add you. Do not accede to a stranger's request to meet up at a quiet place, if you want to meet up with him or her, make sure you choose a crowded place.

Ok. Thats all for now. Hope you have taken note of what you should and should not do!!:)
